Professional Riders - 12 Week Home Program

This 12 Week Program is for Professional Riders who train and ride horses professionally for a living.

This program will have less emphasis on building cardiovascular endurance, as it is assumed that you spend a great deal of your time daily riding and working your cardiovascular fitness that way, but more on recovery, injury prevention, isolated strength training and stretching. As with any professional athlete, cross training and training your fitness outside of your sport is the only way to get better at your sport, and making sure that your body recovers correctly can help the longevity of you being able to stay in your sport.

Taking into consideration that you are a professional rider and that you probably don't have too much time in the day, each workout will only be around 30 minutes and there will be a extra mobility circuit and extra recovery stretching routine at the end of each week.


Main Focus:

  1. Bodyweight Home Workout Program that you can do at the barn or at home for convenience

  2. Places an emphasis on recovery and injury prevention for pro athletes

  3. Isolated strength training to better condition your body

  4. Four 30 minute workouts weekly, so you can easily fit it in your busy day

  5. Extra mobility and recovery stretching routine weekly
