Pre-Ride Warm Up Guide
Just like our horses need to be warmed up before their training ride, our bodies also need to be warmed up before every workout and every ride.
I know what you are thinking. "I just spent 30 minutes getting my horse ready and now I have to spend even more time warming up my own body?? I just want to get on my horse already!" But trust me, if your body is warmed up, you will ride better, give better cues to your horse, prevent injury, to name a few!
All the warm ups in the guide are dynamic warm ups. Dynamic warmup is a type of warm up where you are moving while you are stretching through a joint's full range of motion in order to warm up your muscles before your ride.
